about me
After completing a degree in fashion at Kingston, I worked as a designer for Marks and Spencer before giving up full time employment to raise a family, but I have never lost my fascination with fabric and colour.
I use my collected fabric scraps and vintage pieces (I have a shed full!) to create my pictures. Working on soft paper, I draw with my sewing machine using it to outline my cut-out shapes, and then adding paint to create depth and form.
My inspiration always starts with a bit of lovely fabric, and a new cutting will send me off in a different direction. My current work involves cafes and florists - particularly those with lots of cacti and houseplants.
